Starting today, I'm changing the nature of this blog.

I don't know where you are in your filmmaking journey.

I don't want to give advice to you claiming that I've figured everything out.

What I do want to do is document the filmmaking process.

The process sucks.

Sometimes, you look at footage and hate every second of it. Sometimes it's perfect but you realize that there is a technical error. Sometimes it's fucking brilliant and it makes you hate everything else even more.

I'm in a mood today.

And that's fine. I shortened one clip and my film is .003% better now. tomorrow I'll fix something else.

As long as I'm working on making it better it's all ok.

I'm going to finish this god damned film, and then I'll make another one, even if I have to drag myself kicking and screaming the whole fucking way.

This concludes today's motivational post.
